Monday 31st October - Halloween 4BBB
...with the invasion of the Harlequin Ladybird.
..which swarmed all over us today...
We have filled out a report for the Ladybird trust who want all reported sightings of this invasive species.
Whilst 16 of our members were
playing away at Minehead today,
.......another 46 played in the rollup – not bad for a late October day. Conditions were variable and visibility also varied from perfectly clear to near pea souper.

.......another 46 played in the rollup – not bad for a late October day. Conditions were variable and visibility also varied from perfectly clear to near pea souper.
The best half of the day was
24 points scored by Ron Sutherland and Bob Rees when visibility was practically
zero. James Siabi did his utmost to win with a four pointer on the last but was
one point short of the eventual winners, Bryan Frost and John Pearce, whose 23
points on the back half was easily the best inward score.
There were 8 birdies each
paying £2.80 per team.

also had to report to the Haggis Trust another invasive species that crossed the border uninvited and set a target of 24 points on the front 9..only to fade on the run for home....
But well done to everyone for such great communication when the fog swooped back in.
it was like stepping from Darkness into the Light.
others took no chances.....
but didn't stop some great shots !!!!
and of course a nice little 2 for 4 points.....
