Good turnout today, with 14 Early and 30 late, so 2 earlies played Rolling Stableford, but no cards found.
Captain having a few days off in the Wye Valley and Roger playing in the Wye Bother Open somewhere, so Farmer Bob & JKP in charge.
Weather was not quite as forecast as damp start soon gave way to windy and dry conditions, which felt great for playing 'proper golf' in.
Simple format today, just like a scramble but no drive limitations, although we met Mike /Clive/Andy who were making it hard for themselves by playing a 'limited hassle'.
We met a large convoy of lorries heading out onto the course and they were soon hard at work felling trees around 6th and 17th...everyone's favourite Fir Trees.
So 17th, 18th and 6th were vastly reduce holes today.
We are still getting cards in with all scores in a single column. Please in a Texas or Hassle record Score under player whose drive you took and also in Nett/;Points Column. OK we won't DQ you in a hassle, but certainly will in a Scramble - so why do it different ?
