8 August 2016

For Ball Better Ball  – 8th August 2016

Dropping only 13 shots to par, worthy winners today were Barrie Heath and Brian Hodder scoring 45 points. Conditions were very favourable and in general scoring was good. There were 7 birdies each worth £3.00 per team.

My on course spies tell me that Danny Dowell has made a bid for the trick shot of the month following the exploits of Stuart Pope and Andy Beale last week. From a down hill lie in the trees on the 14th, Danny managed to put his 2nd shot on the green, hitting two trees on the way.
