Up Report Friday 11th November
On
the Day of the changeover of Captains at the AGM, 55 players played in a Three man Texas
Scramble. Some scored Stableford and the remaining scored Medal. It should have
been a Medal Competition, so extra work was required by Bob the scrutineer to
bring all scores into line. The weather
first thing was a little chilly however as the day progressed the sun came out
and the temperature rose slightly, and comments from most players was that it
was nice weather to play golf in.
Three 2's were scored and with the added Roll-Over Money, each pays out £4.20 PER PERSON.
Captain announced at AGM that in the future if no 2's are scored, then Birdies would be paid in a Scramble, ensuring money goes back to those who paid it in.
Unclaimed Hamper from Captain's Dinners was re-raffled and raised another £95...and produced another very popular winner, Mr Ron Sutherland !Three 2's were scored and with the added Roll-Over Money, each pays out £4.20 PER PERSON.

At
the AGM, a democratic vote was taken with Reference to: Retaining or Not
Retaining the Domestic Handicapping system : having listened to two reports
from John Mac Omish (retain) and Bob Barrow (not retain) . The vote went to----- Not Retain the Domestic Handicapping system. All future Roll Up
competitions will now be played off your CLUB Handicap.
