With the captain & Vice & most of the clever ones over at Enmore for our final match, only farmer Bob was left to run Roll-Up.
With 16 Away, it was amazing to have another 42 at roll-Up, with names like John Evans, Stuart Forbes etc appearing.
Chris Gingell and Stuart Pope lost 4 & 3

Could have been even more as Mike Light, Ted Bryden and even Rodney Drayton were up there hacking around to test their fitness. Brian Hodder was back playing after his surgery just 4 days ago.
Beautiful Day up there as Autumn descends over the Course.

I'll gradually build the report as I get things together. Looks to me like first 6 holes are irrelevant, as everyone got 15 or 16 points, 2nd 6 are also quite tight with spread of 2 covering most teams, but the last 6, with all to count is where this format is won and lost as top teams made 40 points as against the lowest at 25, some 15 points behind.
Mike Hone had to shoot of and we had to find any body to stand in...

Dream Team caused a shock when they were drawn out together, but as usual, with Danny playing off Zero against the likes of Colin Ireland carrying the Bob Barrow team, just to pick one hole at random, on 13th Colin had a 3 for 4 points..and so it continued.
We were up at the Quiz last Night, which saw Quinny & his Team leading the way and Carole having a chance to ,'Open the Box' for the £350 - but wrong Key again
One round of Simon's Quiz was all about Kings.
Who was 'The King of Kings'
What is the 'King of Fruits'
Who was the 'King of Hollywood' etc etc.
One Question was "Who is know as the King of Spain"
and answers like Juan Carlos, Ballestersos, Nadal etc came up..but all wrong.
Simon read out the answer 'Phillip DeFreitas' .... and it took us all a bit of time to work out why...
..the Question should have read "Who was know as the King of Spin "..as in Cricket !!!
Richard drew out the winners of the Brandy & Sherry for the October Draw.
Barry Singleton won the Brandy and Frank Martin won the Sherry and another £100 raised for the Captain's Charity.
